Many marine projects require the characterisation of the seabed biological environment. CLS Southern Africa can design and implement various traditional and bespoke methods to study epifaunal and infaunal community composition, abundance and diversity and their associated intertidal, nearshore and deep-sea habitats. High definition video and stills photography allows for identification of seabed biotopes whilst seabed sampling and analysis provides robust statistical results.
